Ya'Man Jazz Syndicate
LDS Music World presents the music of LDS group
Ya'Man Jazz Syndicate
The Ya'Man (yeah man) Jazz Syndicate is a group of musicians that have
performed traditional jazz in the Phoenix area since 2000. Members of
the Syndicate have variously studied music at the University of Idaho,
Arizona State University and Witchita State University, with over 30 years
of combined experience writing and performing jazz. The YaMan Jazz Syndicate
has two basic formats; the large and small. The large group specializes
in swing music, appropriate for functions where dancing is called for.
Dance lessons can also be arranged as you desire. The small group plays
strait ahead jazz that one might expect to hear at a jazz club. Repertoire
consists of Jazz standards and classics from the heyday of popular jazz.
The small group is excellent for wedding receptions or similar social
gatherings where background music and light entertainment is desired.
See the booking information below to obtain a promotional CD with samples
of our recorded repertoire.
