The idea for this album came shortly after the Relief Society Declaration
of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was presented in September
1999. The Declaration is such a beautiful embodiment of the identity and
beliefs of the 4.4 million "women of destiny" who comprise the
Relief Society. It has been a deeply rewarding experience to create and
gather this collection of original songs, which supports the principles
and values described in the Declaration and celebrates the unique gifts
women share. We believe that as women come to live these principles and
acquire these attributes, they will be instruments in the hands of God
- a powerful force for good in their various circles of influence. We
hope this music will help women everywhere discover their destiny as part
of the worldwide sisterhood to which they belong. - Staci Peters &
