Tom has compiled an impressive array of radio, TV, short film, and jingle credits along the way, as well as writing for several award-winning ensembles.  As former senior writer for the United States Air Force Band in Washington, DC, his versatility gave all the ensembles a musical "uniqueness."  Much of his music, written for both professional and amateur alike, is published, performed and recorded. 
    
A native of Mackinaw, Illinois, Dossett graduated from The School of Music at Illinois Wesleyan University. He went on to study composition with Koussevitzky Award winning composer, Roque Cordero at Illinois State University.  Tom also learned the great art of arranging from his father-in-law, Bill Brown, an NBC studio musician and arranger.
