Song Lyrics to "Do You Feel the Same Way Too"
All alone at the end of the night
Wondering what to do
Sitting here feeling like
I want to be with you

Do you feel the same way too
Do you feel the same way too
Do you feel the way that I do, now
The way I feel about you

I'm feeling the need coming on strong
For someone to hold my hand
I'm hoping that you'll want to listen to me
And try to understand

So let me speak my mind now
Won't you listen to what I say
Let's not waste this time now
If you'd like I'll be over today, if you say

That you feel the same way too
If you feel the same way too
If you're feeling the way that I do, now
I'll be there with you

About "My Child, My Love": It was late in the fall when I sat down at my piano to write a new song for the approaching Christmas season. As my hands struck the keys, I found myself singing the words, "Mary, may I hold Him?" With my eyes closed I was playing the song like I had known it my entire life. I then envisioned the stable and all of its surroundings. Then with a rush of emotion I saw a woman reach out her hands to hold Mary's son. At that moment I was filled with pure emotion as tears ran down my face and into my heart. Within the next several days I had written five complete songs. It was an amazing time. With each song I began to realize that I was being handed something bigger than I had imagined. At first I thought I was simply writing a new album for the holidays. It was later that the story outlined in the music would become a book. God gave us love beyond compare when He allowed us to behold his Son in a rocky stable lit by heavens light so long ago. A night filled with miracles and the wondrous gift of love, faith and hope. A night we remember as Christmas.
