Lyrics to "Believe" (vocal: Jenee Wright Prince)
There were those who came to Him,
but left unhealed.
There were learned men who followed Him
but never understood.
There were crowds who only saw a carpenter
when His hands were nailed to wood.

Songwriters: Steven Stewart/James Day/Jim Gately

But He knew some would believe.
They'd see light in His eyes.
Some would believe
And take His love into their lives.
They'd find hope to hold on to.
Their hearts would fill with peace.
He is the way to the FatherBelieve.

The leper found salvation. The outcast found a friend.
And the woman of Samaria would never thirst again.
Still the mob cried out to crucify alt lyrics: (There is life in everything
He offered them)
The one who'd bear their sins. (Embrace His words and live!)

But He knew some would believe.
They'd see light in His eyes.
Some would believe
And take His love into their lives.
They'd find hope to hold on to.
Their hearts would fill with peace.
He is the way to the FatherBelieve.

Some will believe.
They'll see light in His eyes.
Some will believe
And take His love into their lives.
They'd find truth in His teachings
And joy rarely seen.
To return to the FatherBelieve.
