More about Silver City Pink

Silver City Pink is based in Provo, Utah, but they are originally from all over the Western States. Lisa Blaser (lead vocals) is from Las Vegas, Nevada; Catherine Larsen (harmony vocals, guitar, piano) is from Price, Utah; Amber Crowley (fiddle) is from Boise, Idaho; Kim Dubois (mandolin) is from Thousand Oaks, California; and Stacey Francom (bass) is also from Thousand Oaks, California. The group met while performing with the Brigham Young University Folk Music Ensemble in Provo, Utah, and has been playing together since September 2001. Silver City Pink specializes in bluegrass music, but they also play some folk, country, Celtic, blues, and jazz. Most of their music is either original (written by Catherine Larsen) or traditional, but they enjoy SCP-stylizing any song that comes their way. The group recorded their first full-length album in 2003. They love performing, and their audiences can tell by their energy and passion for the music.
