Marvin Goldstein
A highly acclaimed pianist, arranger and
entertainer, Marvin began musical training at age 9. Marvin has many honors
to his credit including being included in Who's Who in Music in Europe,
Cambridge, England. He was awarded a music scholarship to Tel Aviv University
School of Music, Tel Aviv, Israel. His studies continued at the famed
"Mozarteum" of Salzburg, Austria, then completing a Bachelor
and Master of Music degrees at Florida State University in Tallahassee,
Florida. His performance degrees were earned on the French Horn. Marvin
has been awarded the Listeners Choice Award from the LDS Booksellers Association
as the favorite instrumentalist three consecutive years. Marvin has been
invited to join the Education Week faculty at Rick's College, BYU Education
Week Provo and BYU Hawaii. Marvin performed at BYU Hawaii and at the Stake
Center on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai. He performed June 95, October
96, April 98 and March 2000 in Israel at the BYU Jerusalem Center. Other
performances include Anchorage, Alaska, various provinces of Canada and
London, England. The Church invited Marvin to perform in the Tabernacle
on Temple Square, Salt Lake City this past New Year's eve 1999, ushering
in the new millenium.

Continued bio:
Marvin met his wife, Lenae in Tallahassee and have been married
26 years with one son, Nicholas, age 16. He and his family travel
extensively sharing their testimony of our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ. To date, through love and encouragement of his wife, Lenae,
Marvin has recorded twenty two cassettes and compact discs on their
own label. Eight productions have been recorded with full orchestra.
Also, Marvin has arranged 13 piano solo arrangement books, including
many sacred hymns. Marvin has the unique ability to translate his
ideas and emotions through his abilities and love of music. In presenting
a mood that may be happy or sad, the piano comes alive under his
direction.
Marvin joined The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter
Day Saints on June 2, 1985. His conversion was from Judaism at the
age of 35. Various church callings were extended to him beginning
with the ordination to the office of a Priest and subsequently to
the Melchizedek Priesthood and then to the office of High Priest.
Marvin served as a Home Teacher, Ward Mission Leader, Executive
Secretary to the Stake Mission Presidency, Stake Missionary, First
Councilor in the Tallahassee 5th Ward Bishopric, Stake High Councilor,
Stake Music Chairman, Primary Teacher and Pianist, Cub Master, Assistant
Scout Master, and Webelos Leader.
