In early 2003 Lily began recording her music inspired by real life issues, viewed through the eyes of a Christian woman. Her mission is to be a light unto the world, that through her words other may come to know the truth. Knowing first hand how difficult it can be to stay on the right path, she also hopes to encourage those who are struggling to live righteously. She desires to inspire young people and let them know that there is more to life beyond the influences of “POP” culture. Her goal is to promote this wave of positive music to people, who are unaware of its existence. In August 2004 she released her first compilation Cd that includes songs from her upcoming album “From My Eyes”, soon to be released in January 2005. She has been performing at many local venues and churches and was recently featured at an annual Young Adult conference in Miami Beach. The response has been phenomenal! So many have already been impacted by her music, claiming that she will be the biggest Latin sensation of Christian Music. “We need more people like you on the radio”, said one fan. Only God knows what the future has in store for Rubio, but one thing is certain…She is destined to make a Difference!

More about Lily Rubio There is something about Lily Rubio that immediately draws you to her. Perhaps it is her ability to captivate and influence people. The unmistakable countenance she emanates is captured in her heart felt music and life changing lyrics. Taking hold of her at a young age, music has always remained an integral part of her life. At fifteen she began recording songs composed by her mother. It was not until 1999, when she wrote her first song, that her pursuit to share her music with the world began. Seeking knowledge in the field of music business, Lily immersed herself in college courses ranging from audio engineering and music theory to music business. Upon the completion of her degree she realized that although she loved music, she did not see herself fitting in with today’s musical trends. Her solid family values and strong Christian upbringing conflicted with most of today’s music popularized by modern day media. Wanting to share an uplifting and fulfilling message she ventured off into the world of Christian Music.
