LDS Music World presents the music of LDS artist Kedron Porter

The One Fire album contains wonderful string arrangements, percussion and challenging guitar arrangements. It is everything I ever wanted in a CD! There are songs that are fast, slow, hard and soft and many are a combination of all four, which gives the music a very dynamic touch and feel.

Kedron's Bio

I was born in Utah on August 7th 1976. I am the middle child of 5 kids in my family. My dad was in the army during the early years of my life where we moved quite often to such places such as California, Idaho, North Carolina, Germany, Utah and then to Arizona where we have lived here in Scottsdale since 1983. I started playing the guitar in the summer of 1995. My mom has been a piano teacher for over 30 years and my father has played guitar just as long even playing professionally at one time for RCA Music. In fact both of my grandmothers both taught piano and were organists for years but before that summer I never played a musical instrument despite an enormous line of musical talent in my family. One day during the summer of 1995 I was at my friend Geoff's house and he and his brother Greg were watching a video The Song Remains the Same, a Led Zeppelin live concert. After persisting that I should watch it I finally gave in and sat down with them. While I sat there I was amazed at how good jimmy Page was and how easy it looked for him to play the guitar. I never liked Led Zeppelin before that time but after watching the concert I became a fan of their music. I purchased a guitar a week later from my brother's friend and started to play constantly, finding any time to practice whenever I got the opportunity to do it. Ever since I started back then I haven't slowed down or ever looked back. I have been playing for just over 5 years now and I am currently working on my 4th album.
