More about Jenny Phillips

Phillips began her recording career in 1999 with a self-released album and four performances. She has since recorded six more best-selling albums (two of which have been translated into Spanish, German, Danish, and Swedish). She has formed a touring choir of 100 local singers, toured internationally through Japan, Mexico, Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and currently, Australia (Samoa – Summer 2006), and performs more than 200 times a year for more than 23,000 people.

“Amazing things happen when you make yourself available to the Lord,” Phillips says. “To see where I began and to see where I’ve been taken since then is an overwhelming blessing. It is an incredible opportunity to share a message of love and hope—especially when you see that message change the lives of the people you perform for.”

In addition to her full-length albums, Jenny Phillips has released two albums for Young Women, A Great and Marvelous Work (2005) and Arise and Shine Forth (2006) which rose to #1 on the Deseret Book Top Ten Music List. Jenny's music has been translated into over 6 languages, and Jenny has performed in many countries including Japan, Mexico, Germany, Denmark, Scotland, England, Wales, and Sweden. Phillips and her husband live with their two children in North Salt Lake, Utah.

Jenny's goal since childhood has been to facilitate the effect music has in peoples' lives. She can still remember the power she felt listening to gospel music as a little girl and the desire she had even then to help others feel that same power. That vision carried her to where she is now fulfilling her dream as a leader in inspirational music as well as one of the most performed and requested artists in the industry. She has released seven albums, and performed across the United States and internationally for more than 70,000 people at more than 500 performances in the last three years alone. And stories of change and testimony follow wherever she goes.
