Jared Johnson
Jared writes contemporary piano pop often compared to the energy of Jon Schmidt. He has opened for popular artists including Julie de Azevedo, Colors, Peter Breinholt and Enoch Train. Jared's lively music reflects his several years as a percussionist; it also flows with hints of jazz and new age. On stage, he has refined a technique of drumming on the piano during his songs. He is known to throw some Van Halen into his set, but his original piano solos always reflect a sincere optimism. Jared grew up in Houston and has played the piano for more than 20 years.
