WALLS was born out of a longing to sing about simple truths
that have given me hope, and a desire to express these in
a range of musical styles-ballads, big band, light rock, old
Irish tunes, and swing. My wish is that this music, will stir
in you a spirit of hope, vigor, and joy--the essence of what
I have felt in its creation. Thanks to wise friends whose
conversations have shaped me; the writers of scriptures and
literature whose words have buoyed me like a great song; my
loving, husband, Scott, without whom this dream would have
remained just that; my crazy and wonderful kids, Victoria,
Christian, Joshua, and Spencer, who bring laughter and joy
amidst the chaos... and above all, God, who continues to guide
my journey--when I listen."
