"My name is Cristy Diebold. I was born in beautiful Spain and lived there until I got married. I joined the church when I was 17 and it has been the best thing that has ever happened in my life. I love this Country, America and I feel very humble to be living here. It is the Lord’s precious jewel. So many people have died to preserve the freedoms that we enjoy on a daily basis; it has been the hope and dream of many, and so many died in search of this dream that only America could offer. I served a mission in Madrid and after that I came to the states where I married my husband Scott and have had 8 beautiful children, 6 girls and two boys, so how do I find time to write songs? Don’t know!"

More about Cristy Our branch in Granada city was then very small and we were pretty much the pioneers. It was very unique as we were all very close together. I served a mission in Madrid and after that I came to the states where I married my husband Scott and have had 8 beautiful children, 6 girls and two boys, so how do I find time to write songs? Don’t know! I have served in many positions, all very important to me. I don’t think it makes a difference to the Lord whether you are the Relief Society president or the Nursery leader, as long as you serve Him with all your heart. I have loved each position I’ve ever had and I feel like the callings I had did more for me than I could have ever done for anyone I served. I love my Heavenly Father; He is so patient with our weaknesses and shortcomings. I am deeply grateful for all that He does do for us and my songs reflect the feelings of gratitude I have for His many blessings. I love this Country, America and I feel very humble to be living here. It is the Lord’s precious jewel. So many people have died to preserve the freedoms that we enjoy on a daily basis; it has been the hope and dream of many, and so many died in search of this dream that only America could offer. One of the highlights of my life is when I became a citizen. The people of this land are generous, true, loving and unselfish and I hope that in the way I conduct my life I can always bring honor to this great nation.
