About Border Crossing
Border Crossing is Brad Thompson of Fruitland, Idaho and Steve Brown of Payette, Idaho. After performing separately in groups and solo projects across the northwest, Steve and Brad joined forces in late 2000 and have been playing to enthusiastic audiences ever since. With appearances at such events as the Weiser Fiddle Festival, Eagle Fun Days, Malheur County Fair, and Emmett Cherry Festival, they are beginning to develop a fan base as they introduce themselves to the Treasure Valley and beyond. They are known for their tight harmonies, rythmic guitar work, entertaining original songs, and light-hearted and engaging stage presence. What are their live performances like? A Border Crossing performance is an unpredictable roller coaster ride from the off the wall craziness of "Happy Little Duck" to the gripping and driving "What I See In You." Border Crossing is an acoustic guitar duo with Steve and Brad trading off lead and harmonizing vocal parts. With a light-hearted air and off-the-cuff wit, Border Crossing reveals some of the stories behind their music and behind the scenes. Strewn among the Border Crossing originals are crowd pleasing favorites from such varied artists as Green Day, Seals and Crofts, The Indigo Girls, and Barenaked Ladies.
