Alan Williams is an accomplished composer and conductor. He graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Music in Composition and then completed graduate studies in Scoring for Motion Picture and Television from the University of Southern California.

Alan Williams has composed and conducted film scores in many different genres, ranging from the IMAX films AMAZON (an Oscar nominee), Sony Pictures Classics' MARK TWAIN'S AMERICA in 3D, and ISLAND OF THE SHARKS to action/adventure films ANGELS IN THE ATTIC, CLUBHOUSE DETECTIVES and CRONOS 5.0. He has scored dramas such as CADILLAC, romantic comedies like WHO GETS THE HOUSE, and several thrillers such as ASYLUM.

Alan Williams proves his range and versatility as he has written both songs and underscore for the animated features PRINCESS AND THE PEA and TINY HEROES. His numerous television scores include THE CHRISTMAS WISH, SANTA AND PETE, CAB TO CANADA, SILK HOPE, GOING HOME and the series HIGH TIDE.

Alan has produced and conducted an album with the London City Symphony, conducted film music concerts at the Bing Theater in Los Angeles, and was selected to participate with guest composer/conductor Bill Conti at the University of Southern California Symphony Orchestra Film Music Concert.

Alan's composing skills transcend the large and small screen with his original music for the theater production "Scarlet Nights" and his concert works such as "Icons" for orchestra. He has received awards for the wind symphony "Prism" from Brigham Young University as well as awards for the woodwind quintet "Quinate" from both Memphis State University and Morehead State University. 

Alan resides in the Los Angeles area with his wife and two sons.
