More about the musical

The show was written by Eric Endres, a Buffalo area songwriter and performer, who conceived of the idea back in 1999. An avid theatre actor and fan of musicals, he'd wanted to take a shot at writing an original musical for some time, but couldn't come up with an idea he liked. One day, while working at Azerty, Inc., a computer supplies wholesaler, he joked- "I could write a musical about this place..." As he thought about it further, several song ideas and characters emerged from the day-to-day business there, and "A Week In The Life..." was born.

Though sharing a similar setting as other business/office musicals like "The Pajama Game", "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying" and "Promises, Promises", "A Week In The Life..." is still clearly its own show, covering different ground both thematically and musically, and containing enough humor, poignancy and memorable songs to compare to those noted Broadway shows.

In addition to preparing "A Week In The Life..." for its debut production, Eric and his wife Roseann are working together on another original musical, a comedy romp called "Archie-ology", which Eric describes as 'Indiana Jones meets The Mummy, as if written by Monty Python'.
